Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brownie Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osama Bakak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Osama Bakak is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Osama Bakak!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bakak shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jenkins napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bakak working the strikes but Jenkins uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Bakak not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Bakak is keen to just control but Jenkins is a slippery customer.

Jenkins is defending against the submission attempts here by Bakak.

Jenkins makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Bakak tries for a takedown but Jenkins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jenkins tries to clinch but Bakak is having none of it.
Bakak has a takedown stuffed.
Bakak slips a jab and a cross from Jenkins.

Jenkins tries to bum rush Bakak with a series of wild strikes but Bakak uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bakak throws an overhand right that lands on Jenkins's shoulder, as Jenkins tries to avoid the shot.
Jenkins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bakak.

Bakak fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jenkins to the ground. Bakak is now in Jenkins's guard.
Jenkins is looking to stand up but Bakak isn't so interested in that idea.
Bakak passes Jenkins's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Bakak is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bakak not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Jenkins won't allow Bakak to pass to mount.
Jenkins is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bakak thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bakak lands a nice short elbow.

Bakak is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jenkins is just riding it out for now. Bakak eventually gives up the hold.
Jenkins is trying to stand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bakak thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jenkins's head.
Jenkins regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bakak.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jenkins wants to stand but Bakak is controlling the position.
Bakak wants to control from the top but Jenkins keeps moving.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bakak has gone for a leg lock! Jenkins slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bakak's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Osama Bakak has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Jenkins fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jenkins misses with a wild combination.
Bakak tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jenkins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bakak somewhat.
Brownie Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Osama Bakak.
Jenkins feints a jab promting Bakak to slip. Jenkins then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bakak slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bakak falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jenkins cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jenkins moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Bakak misses with a straight right.
Jenkins scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Jenkins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jenkins tries to clinch but Bakak is having none of it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bakak throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jenkins cracks Bakak with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Bakak wants to clinch up but Jenkins keeps it at a distance.
Jenkins checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Bakak misses with a two punch combination.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bakak fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jenkins to the ground. Bakak is now in Jenkins's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bakak trying to control but Jenkins is working from the bottom.
Bakak prevents Jenkins from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Osama Bakak will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Bakak tries to clinch up but Jenkins circles away and keeps his distance.
Jenkins throws a combination. Bakak tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Osama Bakak has been cut.
Jenkins connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Bakak! He's out on his feet! Jenkins rushes in and drops Bakak with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
