Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rafael G Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thizov Phazov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phazov throws a series of punches but G Dias moves out of range.
Phazov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits G Diass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Phazov scores with a punch to the head.
G Dias shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Phazov's guard.
G Dias throws a big right hand that misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

G Dias stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Phazov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

G Dias is fighting to break Phazov's control of his arms but Phazov is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Thizov Phazov wasn't active enough on the ground.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Phazov enables G Dias to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Phazov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

G Dias is trying to work for a kimura but Phazov is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Thizov Phazov hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Phazov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck G Dias on the side of the head.

G Dias goes for a takedown in the clinch but Phazov prevents it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Phazov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Still in the clinch, Phazov scores with a nice short uppercut.

Phazov works on G Dias's body with a couple of short punches.
Phazov lands a right hand that snaps the head of G Dias backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thizov Phazov dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Phazov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from G Dias.
Phazov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Phazov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends G Dias sprawling to the canvas! G Dias rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Phazov finish him?!
G Dias is rocked!

Phazov drops G Dias with a huge uppercut! G Dias drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Phazov is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
