Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Guy Clould (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddy Garner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garner is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Walk. Buddy Garner told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Garner with that takedown attempt.
Clould scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Garner trying to hold on to Clould's head to control him but Clould postures up.
Clould is looking to advance position but Garner won't allow it.

Clould fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Garner manages to avoid it.

Garner sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Clould is trying to control the action in half guard but Garner is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Clould escapes and gets back to his feet.

Clould looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Garner is fending him off so far but Clould persists. Nope, Garner circles away and we're back to standing.
Garner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Clould feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Clould counters with a crisp one two that drops Garner! Clould thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Garner to his feet! Garner is in big trouble!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Clould dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Garner has had enough and taps out.
