Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rampe Rovio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uno Louner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rovio comes to the cage accompanied by Eläkeläiset- Ranttalihumppa. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Louner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Louner wants it to stay on the feet.
Rovio closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Rovio scores with a push kick.

Louner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rovio.

Louner stalks Rovio and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rovio's face. Rovio staggers backwards, shaken.

Rovio throws out a loose jab but Louner uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rovio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Rovio feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Louners jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Louner takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Rovio moves into range and clinches up with Louner.
Louner has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Louner's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Louner gets control of Rovio's arms and successfully pulls guard. Louner will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Rovio has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
