The crowd seem to be enjoying Lauren's choice of entrance music: Crazy. Owen Wash could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jill Lauren's chin.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wash keeps the fight on the outside.

Lauren gets a clinch.
Lauren is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Wash is defending well for now.
Wash is looking to take this one to the mat.
Lauren throws a knee to the head but misses.
Lauren gets underhooks to prevent Wash's takedown attempt.
Lauren lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Wash.
Lauren unloads a knee to the mid-section. Wash lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Lauren ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lauren no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Lauren pushes Wash off and scrambles back to his feet.
A left and a right from Wash both land. Nice combination.
Lauren tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lauren pushes Wash up against the cage in a clinch.
Nice body punch from Lauren - that landed with a thud.
Wash is breathing heavily.
Lauren's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Lauren decides to pull guard.

Lauren has his feet on Wash's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Lauren takes a kick to the side of the head.
Wash dives in and grabs Lauren's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lauren pushes down on Wash's head and hops out.

Lauren moves into the clinch.
Lauren landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Lauren escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lauren throws a series of strikes that have Wash backpedaling.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lauren lands a good knee to the midsection. Wash won't want to take too many of those.

Lauren crunches a lovely knee into Wash's ribcage.

Lauren jumps guard and drags Wash to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Oh Wash is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lauren has his feet on Wash's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Lauren dances in with a quick combination. Wash is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Lauren snaps Wash's head back. Wash stumbles backwards against the cage. Lauren steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Wash's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Wash just didn't come prepared.
