and Maeda counters with a good low kick that Van Damme was not able to check.

Van Damme avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maeda stuns Van Damme with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Maeda connects with a leg kick. Van Damme looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Maeda drops Van Damme with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Van Damme looks back up at him and smiles so Maeda waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Van Damme is rocked!
Van Damme circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Maeda. Van Damme falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Maeda!
