Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donatello Crizanto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Donatello Crizanto!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crizanto takes one on the chin but seems OK.


It looks like Donatello Crizanto has been cut.

Crizanto looks to score with a jab to the body but Morgan is just out of range.
Crizanto misses the shot to the body.
Crizanto tries to close the distance and clinch but Morgan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Morgan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Morgan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Crizanto creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Morgan looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Morgan missing with a left hand there. Crizanto was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Crizanto lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Horrible takedown by Morgan or perhaps it was just good defense by Crizanto which made him look bad.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Crizanto, right into the meat.

and Morgan counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Crizanto pushes Morgan off and gets back to his feet.

Crizanto clinches.
Morgan blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Morgan wants to break free but Crizanto has control.
Morgan can't break the clinch.
Crizanto misses with a knee strike.

Morgan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Morgan lands a head kick. Crizanto smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Crizanto has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Morgan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Morgan is trying to push Crizanto away but Crizanto has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Crizanto throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Crizanto makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Crizanto lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Crizanto dips a shoulder and cracks Morgan with a mighty uppercut! Morgan falls back against the cage and Crizanto unloads with a barrage of strikes! Morgan is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Crizanto screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Donatello Crizanto!
A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Donatello Crizanto made sure he mentioned 1337 ANZAC , along with how happy he was to win his fight.
