The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Morgan.
Obasi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morgan as he avoids it easily.
Morgan stuffs the takedown.
Morgan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Morgan slaps away a takedown attempt from Obasi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
James Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ayila Obasi.
Morgan fails in his attempt to clinch.

Morgan rushes Obasi and presses him up against the cage.
Obasi wants a takedown.
Obasi has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Morgan after a bit of a struggle.
Obasi goes for a takedown in the clinch but Morgan prevents it.
Morgan lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Obasi or not.
Obasi looks gassed!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Morgan lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Ayila Obasi has been cut.
Morgan lands a damaging elbow.
Morgan lands an elbow inside that Obasi shrugs off.

That has opened up Ayila Obasi's cut even more.
Morgan gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

The cut above Ayila Obasi's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Morgan connects with a nasty looking knee right to Obasi's face.

Obasi is rocked!

Ayila Obasi's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ayila Obasi's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
