Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kob Nitaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrel Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sackett has chosen Highway to Hell as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kob Nitaya has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Kob Nitaya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyrel Sackett!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nitaya misses with a low kick.
Sackett tried to score with a low kick but Nitaya checks it.
Sackett misses with a low kick.
Sackett connects with a right hand. Nitaya shakes it off.
Sackett shoots in for a takedown but Nitaya shows good takedown defense.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nitaya lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sackett has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sackett and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nitaya is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sackett.
Nitaya misses with an attempted mid kick.
Sackett throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nitaya's waist but Nitaya gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sackett off to one side.
Nitaya lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sackett takes a step back to recover.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sackett throws a sloppy head kick and Nitaya moves out of range easily.

Sackett throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sackett lands with a hook. Nitaya tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Nitaya makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Nitaya tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sackett swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Sackett connects with a body shot that sends Nitaya's belly button to the back.
Sackett throws a shot from downtown. Nitaya moves away and avoids it.

That kick from Nitaya tenderised Sackett's leg. Sackett is trying to keep his angry face on.

Sackett looks to score with a jab to the body but Nitaya is just out of range.

Nitaya throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sackett attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Nitaya takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nitaya walks into a left hand.
Nitaya takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sackett throws a looping overhand right but Nitaya ducks down to avoid it.
Sackett wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nitaya takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nitaya throws a head kick but Sackett moves out of range.
Nitaya lands an overhand right.
Sackett avoids the head kick by Nitaya.
Nitaya slips under a jab from Sackett.
Nitaya tries to close the distance and clinch but Sackett swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Nitaya.
Nitaya lands with a straight right. Sackett didn't see that one coming.

Sackett tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Nitaya throws the kick towards the body but Sackett avoids it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Nitaya. Sackett does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sackett fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nitaya manages to avoid it.
Nitaya's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sackett connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nitaya scrambles back to his feet.
Nitaya throws a solid leg kick but Sackett takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Nitaya.
Nitaya connects with a leg kick. Sackett looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Nitaya throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Sackett moves out of range of the body kick from Nitaya.
Nitaya lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sackett's sensitive parts.
Sackett fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nitaya manages to avoid it.
Nitaya tests Sackett's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Good leg kick by Nitaya there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Sackett looks to score with a jab to the body but Nitaya is just out of range.

Sackett gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Sackett throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

and Sackett counters with an outside leg kick.
Nitaya ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sackett pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Nitaya throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Nitaya checks the leg kick nicely there.
Nitaya throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nitaya lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Nitaya feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sackett's calf.

Nitaya moves into the clinch successfully.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sackett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nitaya swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Nitaya parries the strikes from Sackett easily there. Sackett is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Nitaya to escape.

Nitaya tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sackett wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sackett accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Sackett has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
