PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dyno Clutch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy McKain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clutch kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Judge. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Clutch.
Some bone on bone action there as McKain checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
McKain misses the jab.
McKain throws a lazy uppercut
and Clutch counters with a nice low kick that buckles McKain's knee momentarily.
McKain scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like Dyno Clutch has been cut.

Clutch bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Clutch throws a sloppy head kick and McKain moves out of range easily.

McKain throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Clutch was covering up waiting for the punch and McKain finishes the takedown easily into guard.

McKain shoots in for a takedown but Clutch shows good takedown defense.
McKain loads up on a big right hand but Clutch slips the punch.

Dyno Clutch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
No joy there for Clutch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Clutch takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McKain listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

McKain looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

McKain is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
McKain is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Clutch tries to lock up and control but McKain gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
McKain tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Dyno Clutch's cut is getting worse.
The referee warns Clutch that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Clutch tries to reverse the position but McKain maintains control.
McKain scores with a couple of good head shots there.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dyno Clutch's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
