The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Connor clinches up with Montabekko and pushes him back against the cage.
Montabekko drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Montabekko is looking for a takedown.
Montabekko wants to take the fight to the mat but Connor manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
John Connor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adreiani Montabekko.

Connor has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Montabekko clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Montabekko is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Connor defends well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Montabekko is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Connor has his hands clasped together but Montabekko extends an breaks Connor's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Montabekko.
