Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Super Hans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Small (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hans comes into the arena with Hans being Hans blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Pat Small enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Small lands with a right hand.
Small swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Small missing with a left hand there. Hans was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Small looks to land a right hand but Hans moved out of range.
The fighters circling - Small throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A big left from Small misses.
A head kick misses from Hans.
Horrible takedown by Hans or perhaps it was just good defense by Small which made him look bad.

Hans tries a body shot but Small blocks it.

A short body shot lands from Hans as the two fighters clinch.
Hans has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Small is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Small wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hans tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Small's elbow.
A nice right hand lands inside from Small.

Small doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Small pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Small throws the left hand but Hans avoids the punch easily.
Small bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hans's head.

Hans fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Small sprawls well initially but Hans persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Hans is working for a submission of some sort.

Hans is working for a kimura here but Small manages to reverse the position and he's now in Hans's guard.
Hans looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Hans seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Small won't allow Hans to sweep him here.

Hans escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Small gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Small wants to control from the top but Hans keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Pat Small wasn't active enough on the ground.
Hans staying out of range there.
Hans has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Super Hans. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hans tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pat Small dominated that round.
That's time! Hans's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hans throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Small chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hans can pounce on him.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hans checks a leg kick.
Small throws a hook but Hans blocks it.
Hans pulls out of a head kick attempt.

A slow jab from Hans misses its intended target.
Hans looks for a takedown but Small sprawls well.
Small fails to land with a series of punches.
Pat Small seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Hans takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hans circles away from the clinch attempt.

Hans misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Small bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Hans throws a right hand that Small ducks under and follows up with a left that Small also avoids with ease.

Small uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hans.
Hans moves into range and connects with a jab.
Small lunges at Hans with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hans's hand.

Hans throws a punch but it's blocked by Small.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pat Small is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Small avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Hans shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Small but Small pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hans, right into the meat.

Nice uppercut lands for Small. That snapped Hans's head back.
Small doesn't manage to clinch there - Hans circles away.

Hans drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Small keeping moving, preventing Hans from controlling successfully.
Hans stands and throws Small's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Hans thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hans is working to tighten is grip on Small's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Small has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hans is really squeezing tight and eventually Small passes out! Hans breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
