The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shields shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Alkofer as he jumps to the side.
Alkofer throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Alkofer scores with a nice right hand.

Alkofer throws a combination. Shields tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Jake Shields has been cut.
