The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Pat Curran has been cut.
Curran throws a right and a left that Stanley avoids nicely.
Curran feints a jab promting Stanley to slip. Curran then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stanley slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Ned Stanley has been cut.
Stanley on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Curran tries to clinch there but Stanley circles away.
Stanley scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Curran ducks under a wild hook from Stanley.
Stanley bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Curran on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Stanley gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Stanley creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Curran is rocked!

Stanley manages to break the clinch.
Curran is still on wobbly legs! Can Stanley finish him?
Curran swings widly with a right hand
and Stanley counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Curran gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Stanley points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Curran wakes up just in time to hear Stanley thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ned Stanley was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
