The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lokic looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Juniper ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nice sprawl there from Juniper as Lokic shoots in.
Juniper throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lokic's head.
Lokic is looking to clinch.
Lokic slips a jab and a cross from Juniper.
Juniper shoots for a double leg takedown but Lokic sprawls well. He's pushed Juniper's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lokic tries to keep at a distance but Juniper has taken the fight into the clinch.

Juniper manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lokic stands up and waves to Juniper to follow him.

Juniper shoots in for a takedown but Lokic shows good takedown defense.
Juniper throws a series of punches but Lokic moves out of range.
Lokic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Juniper is fending him off so far but Lokic persists. Nope, Juniper circles away and we're back to standing.

Juniper wants to sweep here but Lokic controlling him for the moment.
Lokic wants to stand but Juniper is controlling his posture from full guard.

Lokic drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lokic jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Juniper has his foot on Lokic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lokic works his way back into a safe position though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Humberto Lokic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Juniper shoots in and bounces Lokic off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Lokic is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Juniper is controlling him.

Lokic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Juniper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Juniper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Juniper stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lokic swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Lokic is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Lokic looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Juniper is defending well. Lokic quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Juniper has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lokic celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
