Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Hester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Beast shoots in for a double leg but Hester sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hester tries to clinch up
and The Beast counters with a series of strikes. Hester will be more careful next time no doubt.

The Beast rushes Hester and presses him up against the cage.

The Beast gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hester regains guard.
The Beast takes a decent strike to the side of the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Beast drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hester dives on top into guard.

The Beast has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hester can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The Beast is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
