Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Volk Khan!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan misses with a right hand
and Parker counters with a stiff right hand.
Parker thows a body shot but no joy.
Khan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Parker.
Parker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Khan cracks a nice hook into Parker's ribs.
Parker looks to score with a jab to the body but Khan is just out of range.
Khan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Parker was well out of range. Poor timing from Khan.
Khan throws a big shot that misses.
Khan thows a left - swing and a miss!
Parker misses with a body shot.
Parker displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Khan throws out the jab.
Frank Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Khan closes the distance and clinches.
Parker is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Parker tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Parker stalling against the cage.
Parker lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Khan misses with the head strike.
Khan looking to stall.

Khan manages to break the clinch.
A big right from Khan misses.
Khan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Parker circles away quickly and effectively.
Parker throws an overhand right that lands on Khan's shoulder, as Khan tries to avoid the shot.
Khan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Parker moves away.
Parker is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Khan throws a jab but it's blocked by Parker.
Parker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Parker scores with a jab to the jaw.
Khan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Parker.
Khan looks to land a combination. Parker sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Parker stuffs the takedown attempt from Khan. Khan gets slowly back to his feet.
Khan throws a body punch but Parker moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big left from Khan misses.

Parker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Parker works over Khan with some ground and pound from guard.

Khan looking for a guillotine here but Parker defends easily.
Khan is trying to control the position but Parker postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parker throwing strikes from guard but Khan blocks nicely.
Parker has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Khan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Parker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Khan works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Parker wants to control from the top but Khan keeps moving.
Parker cracks Khan with a solid left hand.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Khan is on top in guard.
Khan wants to pass the guard but Parker is keeping the position.

Khan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Parker is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Khan, into his guard.
Parker landing with the ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Parker stopping the sweep attempt from Khan.

Khan looking for a triangle here. Parker is fighting it but it looks tight! Khan pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Parker is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Volk Khan!
During a confident post fight interview, Volk Khan thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
