Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sandy Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlo Froch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hawkins might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Enter Sandman. Froch has chosen Can't be touched as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marlo Froch!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Froch throws a leg kick
and Hawkins cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Froch misses with a series of wild punches.
Marlo Froch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Froch throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Froch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hawkins.
Froch connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hawkins's hands.
Hawkins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Froch dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hawkins. That did some damage!

and Hawkins counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Hawkins connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Froch throws a right hand that Hawkins ducks under and follows up with a left that Hawkins also avoids with ease.
Froch takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Marlo Froch has been cut.

Hawkins has control of Froch's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Froch regains control of the situation pretty easily.
