The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blaze Christianson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pat cracks a nice hook into Christianson's ribs.

Pat does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Christianson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pat - the referee stops the clock and Christianson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pat. Christianson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Christianson's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Pat fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Christianson, pushing him back against the cage.

Christianson takes an elbow to the temple.

Pat's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pat lands a big head kick that sends Christianson tumbling to the mat! Pat takes a step backwards and waves Christianson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Pat feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Christianson sprawling to the canvas! Christianson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pat finish him?!

Christianson wants to stay close but Pat steps back to make room for something. Christianson seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Pat and Christianson drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
