Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Brasileiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matheus Dutra!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brasileiro needs to keep his hands up - Dutra had a free shot at his head there.
Brasileiro shoots in for a takedown but Dutra shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brasileiro.
Dutra connects with a jab.
Brasileiro fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Brasileiro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brasileiro tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dutra sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brasileiro somewhat.
Jab, jab by Dutra - just one landing.
Dutra sizes up Brasileiro with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brasileiro shoots in looking for a takedown. Dutra tries to sprawl out of it but Brasileiro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dutra manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dutra lands with a right hand.
Brasileiro is rocked!
Dutra cracks Brasileiro with a left hook right on the temple and Brasileiro goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Dutra lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Brasileiro is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Matheus Dutra!
Matheus Dutra tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
