Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Fernandinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Sergio Silva has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandinho moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.

Fernandinho manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Silva on his heels. He'll look to pass Silva's guard now, I'm sure.
Fernandinho keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Silva's head.

Fernandinho stands up from Silva's guard - Fernandinho perhaps looking for a knockout.

Fernandinho closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fernandinho has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Silva is looking to get back to full guard here but Fernandinho has managed to pass to side control instead.

Fernandinho controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Silva throws his legs up looking for a submission but Fernandinho uses it to pass to side control.

Fernandinho decides to stand back up.

Fernandinho throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Silva tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fernandinho is in Silva's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fernandinho throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Silva has his hands clasped together but Fernandinho breaks the hold and Silva is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Fernandinho!
