Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Spitwater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, The Beast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Spitwater!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spitwater wants to clinch.
Beast takes a kick to the side of the head.


It looks like The Beast has been cut.
Spitwater shoots in for a double leg but Beast sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Spitwater fails with the takedown.

Spitwater shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Spitwater has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Beast is proving hard to escape from.
Beast pulls Spitwater in close to his closed guard and prevents Spitwater from doing any damage or advancing position.
Beast controls Spitwater momentarily but Spitwater frees himself.
Beast on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Beast tries to get out of the position.

Spitwater prevents Beast from breaking the clinch.

Spitwater decides to pull guard.

Spitwater pulls Beast in close to prevent any damage.

Beast prevents Spitwater from improving his position.
Spitwater wants to get back to full guard but Beast has mounted him!
Spitwater is desperately trying to improve his position but Beast has a good base and remains in mount.
Spitwater swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Spitwater is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Spitwater really wants to buck Beast off and get back to his feet.
Spitwater can't escape the position.
Spitwater tries to hold on but Beast postures up.
Spitwater flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Spitwater is desperately trying to improve his position but Beast has a good base and remains in mount.

Jimmy Spitwater dominated that round.
The cut man is working on The Beast's cut.
That's time! Beast's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Spitwater looks to clinch

and Beast counters by moving into the clinch.
Spitwater gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Beast.
Spitwater tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Spitwater fails to pull guard.
Spitwater misses with a punch on the inside.
Beast is pressed up against the cage. Spitwater has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Beast down to the mat. Beast avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Beast swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Spitwater closes the distance looking to clinch
and Beast counters with a nice body kick.
Spitwater is breathing heavily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Beast.
Spitwater regains half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Beast working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Spitwater regains full guard. Nicely done.
Beast working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Beast throws a big right hand that misses.
Beast lands a couple of elbows.
Spitwater is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Beast has one foot on Spitwater's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Beast feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Spitwater has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Beast has passed into side control.
Spitwater tries to bench press Beast off him but Beast keeps the position.

Beast stands up and beckons Spitwater to his feet.
Beast fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Spitwater looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Spitwater closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beast is pressing down on Spitwater's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Beast trying to keep a closed guard but Spitwater is proving a slippery customer.
Beast doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Spitwater won't allow Beast to sweep him here.

Beast lands an upkick as Spitwater stands over him.

Beast looking for a sweep. Not yet Beast, not yet.
Beast is trying to keep Spitwater in close.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The Beast is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Beast looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Spitwater wants to control but Beast is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Spitwater throws a sloppy head kick

and Beast counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Spitwater escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beast gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Beast wants to control from the top but Spitwater keeps moving.
Beast passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Beast cracks Spitwater with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Spitwater tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Beast wants to lay and pray for a moment but Spitwater keeps working.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The ground and pound from Beast seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Spitwater tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Beast wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Beast is looking to take a break and control but Spitwater is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Spitwater throws a head kick but Beast moves out of range.
Beast circles away from the clinch attempt

and Beast counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Spitwater!

Spitwater wants to hold on but Beast pushes him away.

Spitwater throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Spitwater takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Beast cracks Spitwater with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Spitwater tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Beast gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Spitwater tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Spitwater is trying to stand back up but Beast is controlling him
Spitwater wants to control but Beast is keeping busy.

Spitwater looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Spitwater is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Beast's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Beast's back!
Beast trying to control the position but Spitwater manages to sink in the hooks.

And that's the end of the fight!
The Beast showed his dominance in that final round.
