Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peta Everdeen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zdzislaw Konopka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Everdeen comes into the arena with Song 2 - Blur blaring out of the sound system. Zdzislaw Konopka is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zdzislaw Konopka!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Konopka stuns Everdeen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Konopka throws a combination. Everdeen tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Everdeen moves forwards but Konopka connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Everdeen takes the fight into the clinch.
Konopka wants to break free but Everdeen has control.
Konopka is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Konopka is trying to force a seperation but Everdeen has the dominant position.
Konopka wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Everdeen manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Everdeen wants to stand but Konopka is controlling the position.
Everdeen has his feet on Konopka's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Everdeen takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Konopka lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Konopka digs a good hook to Everdeen's body.
Konopka lands a left and a right that send Everdeen crashing to the mat, dazed. Konopka thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Everdeen is rocked!
It looks like Peta Everdeen has been cut.
Everdeen is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Konopka throws a nice looking combination but Everdeen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Oh Everdeen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Konopka lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Everdeen at a distance.
Konopka tries to bum rush Everdeen with a series of wild strikes but Everdeen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Everdeen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Everdeen leaves his chin hanging out and Konopka seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Everdeen crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zdzislaw Konopka!
A relieved looking Zdzislaw Konopka thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
