The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gebhard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sophaz sprawls well. Sophaz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gebhard gets slowly back to his feet.

Sophaz lands a big right hand that sends Gebhard crashing to the mat! Sophaz stays standing though and waves Gebhard back to his feet!

It looks like Manuel Gebhard has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gebhard takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Gebhard has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sophaz.
Gebhard looks gassed!
Sophaz connects with a body shot that sends Gebhard's belly button to the back.
Sophaz cracks a nice hook into Gebhard's ribs.
Sophaz lands a nice hook to Gebhard's body. Gebhard takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Sophaz sends Gebhard crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sophaz is motioning to the referee to let Gebhard up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Gebhard bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Sophaz comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Gebhard falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Gebhard was out before he hit the floor!
