Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between El Luan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Badge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, El Luan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Badge closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Badge stands up and beckons Luan to his feet.
Badge stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Badge wants it to stay on the feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Badge.
Badge landing a few strikes.
Luan seems a little lost for a moment, as Badge dominates the positioning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Badge decides to stand back up.
Badge stuffs the takedown.
Badge blocks a head kick by Luan.
Luan shoots for a takedown but Badge saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Luan dives in and grabs Badge's left leg, looking for a takedown. Badge pushes down on Luan's head and hops out.

Badge throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Luan was covering up waiting for the punch and Badge finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Badge got a little sloppy there for a moment and Luan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Badge has managed to get both his arms back between Luan's legs - danger averted.

Luan looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Badge has picked Luan up and slammed him! Luan can't keep hold of the triangle and Badge manages to pass to side control!

Badge is trying to shake Luan off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Luan won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.

Badge changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Luan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Badge thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Badge throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Luan's waist but Luan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Badge off to one side.

Badge closes the distance and clinches.
Come on Badge - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Luan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Badge to keep the fight standing.

Badge pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Luan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Badge shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Badge is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Luan is wriggling around trying to escape.
Rusty Badge has got the better of the ground game so far.
Badge postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Luan looks a forlorn figure.

Badge shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Badge showed some decent athleticism there.
Badge is breathing heavily.
Badge winds up and cracks Luan with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Luan pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Luan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Badge doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Luan.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to El Luan.
Well Badge has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
