PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Azazle Aroman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walter White told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Azazle Aroman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Walter White!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aroman shoots in but White avoids the takedown attempt easily.
White explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Aroman throws a sloppy head kick and White moves out of range easily.
White lands with a slapping head kick.
Aroman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Aroman throws a right and a left that White avoids nicely.
White throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Aroman's head.

It looks like Azazle Aroman has been cut.
White lands with a straight right. Aroman didn't see that one coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Aroman throws a right hand that White ducks under and follows up with a left that White also avoids with ease.
Aroman chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before White can pounce on him.

Aroman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Aroman is breathing heavily.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
White moves into full guard.
White lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Aroman!
Aroman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Aroman tries to get out of the position.
Aroman is squirming around, avoiding White's attempts to control the action.

White thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
White tries to control but Aroman wriggling away.
White is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
White trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Aroman is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
White sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Aroman holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as White tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

White stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Aroman throws a right hand that White ducks under and follows up with a left that White also avoids with ease.
Aroman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by White.
Aroman has a takedown stuffed.
White throws a body kick that misses.
Aroman closes the distance and clinches up with White, looking for a takedown. Aroman pushes White against the cage but White circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Azazle Aroman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Aroman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has White pinned against the cage. White gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

White uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

White connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Aroman to the floor! White dives in looking for the finish!

Aroman is rocked!

White is trying to work for a kimura but Aroman is defending well.
Oh Aroman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
White is trying to control the action in half guard but Aroman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
It looks like White is going to stand back up.
White wants to control but Aroman is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

White defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Aroman.
Aroman seems to have got his legs back now.
White bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Aroman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. White manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Aroman takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
White stuffs the takedown.
Walter White seems to be getting the better of the standup.
An inside leg kick lands from White.
Crunch! White slams his shin into Aroman's torso.
Aroman will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
White tries a head kick but it misses.
White scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Aroman steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from White. That one must have hurt.
White throws a front kick that sends Aroman stumbling back into the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
White moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
White lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Aroman circles away quickly and effectively.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Crunch! White slams his shin into Aroman's torso.
White lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
White connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Aroman looks to land a combination but White avoids it well.
A thudding body kick lands there by White!
White dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Aroman. That did some damage!
Aroman takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
White works over Aroman's head and body with a nice combination.
White throws a sloppy head kick and Aroman moves out of range easily.
Azazle Aroman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

White explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
White cracks the inside of Aroman's front leg.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
White throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
White lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
White throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Aroman finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under White's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Aroman falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
