Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zak Moro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zak Moro has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Viktor Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zak Moro!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moro wants to clinch but Black slips to the side

so Black counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Black is in close to Moro's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Black trying to control but Moro is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Black accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Moro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Black wants to control from the top but Moro keeps moving.
Black is looking to work some ground and pound but Moro has wrist control.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Viktor Black wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Moro throws a leg kick but Black checks it.
Moro looks to land a combination. Black sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Black fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moro manages to avoid it.
Zak Moro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Moro uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Black has time to react.

Moro gets a clinch.
Black changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Moro fights it off and pushes away nicely.
A clash of legs there as Black blocks the low kick.

The crowd cheers as Moro lands an impressive looking overhand right. Black doesn't seem phased though.

Black closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Black lands in his opponent's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moro can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Moro bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Black's head backwards.

Moro has managed to clinch.
Moro digs a right hand underneath Black's ribcage. Black let out a lung full of air as it connected.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Black takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Moro is staying active underneath Black, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Viktor Black overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Still in half guard, Black seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Viktor Black just wasn't active enough.
Black shoots in for a takedown but Moro shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Black takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Black misses with a wild body shot.
Moro clobbers Black with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moro cracks a nice hook into Black's ribs.

A close second round but Zak Moro will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Black is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

We're going to have a standup here because Viktor Black wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Black slips a jab and a cross from Moro.
Moro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Black stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Zak Moro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Moro moves away.
Moro slips a jab and a cross from Black.
Moro walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Black checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Black throws a nice looking combination but Moro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Moro lands with a nice combination. Black backs away looking to recover.

Black shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Black stands up over Moro, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Black slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Black has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Black closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
