The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Kayani does no damage.
Sharp wants to clinch.
Kayani misses the jab.
Nice sprawl there from Kayani as Sharp shoots in.
Kayani misses with a two punch combination.
Kayani throws a series of punches but Sharp moves out of range.
Sharp fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kayani checks it well.

Sharp thows a body shot but no joy.

Sharp drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Sharp slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Sharp tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sharp has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kayani is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Sharp cracks Kayani with a big elbow.
Kayani is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sharp has just dragged him back down to the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sharp tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sharp has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kayani wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sharp wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kayani keeps working.
Kayani on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kayani tries to get out of the position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sharp might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kayani kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Sharp moves into full mount!
Kayani wants to get back to his feet.

Kayani takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Sharp landing strikes, looking to finish!
Sharp is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kayani can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kayani is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Sharp throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Kayani has his hands clasped together but Sharp breaks the hold and Kayani is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Sharp!
