Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aemon Targaryen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCarthy has chosen Crank That as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy lands with a kick to the temple. Targaryen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
McCarthy works over Targaryen's head and body with a nice combination.
McCarthy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Targaryen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McCarthy as he avoids it easily.
Targaryen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
McCarthy throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Targaryen's head.
Targaryen blocks a head kick by McCarthy.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McCarthy lands with a nice combination. Targaryen backs away looking to recover.
Targaryen has a takedown stuffed.
Targaryen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McCarthy swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aemon Targaryen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Targaryen dodges the punch combination from McCarthy.
Targaryen fails with the takedown
and McCarthy counters with a three punch combo that has Targaryen backing up. Targaryen nods at McCarthy to acknowledge the strikes.

Targaryen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Targaryen wants to take a breather but McCarthy is having none of it.
McCarthy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Targaryen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

McCarthy is looking to get back to is feet but Targaryen passes into side control.

Targaryen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Targaryen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Targaryen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Targaryen has worked his way into a potential kimura here. McCarthy is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Targaryen yanks on the arm and McCarthy is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Targaryen.
