Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke McKendrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bot Botanovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Botanovic is predictable there
and McKendrick counters with a body kick.
Botanovic moves out of range of the body kick from McKendrick.
That kick from Botanovic tenderised McKendrick's leg. McKendrick is trying to keep his angry face on.
McKendrick lands a nice shot that snaps Botanovic's head back.
Bot Botanovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Botanovic misses with a takedown attempt - McKendrick sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Botanovic throws a wild body kick that McKendrick sees coming a mile off.
Botanovic moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Botanovic changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McKendrick looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
