And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey Marciano!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swarley throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Marciano's head.

Marciano takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Marciano throws a leg kick but Swarley checks it.
Marciano blocks a head kick by Swarley.
Marciano shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Swarley doesn't manage to clinch there - Marciano circles away.

Marciano shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Swarley is trying to defend but Marciano finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Swarley jumps guard but Marciano turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Swarley is working for takedown but Marciano is calmly controlling the position for now.

Swarley goes for a takedown attempt but Marciano pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Swarley tries to land a front kick but Marciano steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Marciano looks for a takedown but Swarley sprawls well.
Marciano throws the kick towards the body but Swarley avoids it.
Marciano goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Swarley throws a sloppy head kick and Marciano moves out of range easily.
Bob Swarley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Marciano changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Swarley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Marciano decides to stand up, so the ref orders Swarley to his feet.
Marciano fails in his attempt to clinch.

Marciano bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Marciano thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Swarley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marciano paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Swarley has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Can Swarley hold on?! Marciano is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
