The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lennon connects with a body shot that sends Marshland's belly button to the back.
Lennon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marshland pinned against the cage. Marshland gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Marshland got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lennon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marshland has managed to get both his arms back between Lennon's legs - danger averted.

Marshland drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lennon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Marshland has Lennon in his guard.
