Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins comes into the arena with Fuck like a Beast blaring out of the sound system. Harris is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kiss Me I'm Shit Faced. Ken Jenkins looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris leaves Jenkins with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jenkins closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Harris did well to prevent Jenkins getting side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jenkins connects with a nice short shot to Harris's temple.
Harris pushes Jenkins off looking to stand but Jenkins dives back in and keeps control.

Jenkins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Harris is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Jenkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harris swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jenkins working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Harris's head.

Harris drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jenkins looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jenkins looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jenkins!
