Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodriguez comes to the cage accompanied by The Words Best Friend . Ryan Rodriguez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Rodriguez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyler Durden!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rodriguez on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Durden. Durden obviously looking to wear him down.
Rodriguez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Durden pinned against the cage. Durden gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Durden tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rodriguez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rodriguez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Rodriguez slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Rodriguez wants to pass the guard but Durden is keeping the position.
Durden keeping moving, preventing Rodriguez from controlling successfully.
Durden wants to stand up but Rodriguez is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rodriguez controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Durden wants to sweep but no luck.
Rodriguez controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Rodriguez trying to control but Durden is working from the bottom.
Rodriguez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Durden works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rodriguez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Durden gets caught flat footed, as Rodriguez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rodriguez makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Rodriguez trying to control the position from guard on top but Durden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Durden has his foot on Rodriguez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rodriguez works his way back into a safe position though.
Durden looks gassed!
Rodriguez lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Durden is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rodriguez tries to free his leg and advance position but Durden is retaining full guard.
Durden is working an open guard so Rodriguez takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Rodriguez is looking to clinch.
Rodriguez fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rodriguez is looking to score with low kicks.
Rodriguez closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Durden swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rodriguez counters with a two punch combo.
Nice sprawl there from Durden as Rodriguez shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Rodriguez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Rodriguez or perhaps it was just good defense by Durden which made him look bad.
Durden drives through and clinches with Rodriguez against the cage.
Durden breaks from the clinch.
Durden throws a right and a left that Rodriguez avoids nicely.
Rodriguez is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Durden.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Durden.
Durden is working to tighten is grip on Rodriguez's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rodriguez has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Durden is really squeezing tight and eventually Rodriguez passes out! Durden breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
