Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Conway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conway misses with an uppercut. Paul saw that one coming.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Conway drives through with a takedown into Paul's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Paul is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Conway wants to control from the top but Paul keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ryan Conway just wasn't active enough.
Conway ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Paul moves away.
Conway moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Paul shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Conway connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Conway throws a body punch but Paul moves out of range.

Paul dives in and scores a takedown into Conway's guard.
Conway preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Paul stays in close to Conway's body and controls the position.
Paul stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Conway swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Paul controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Conway is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Ryan Conway has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Paul looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Conway is fending him off so far but Paul persists. Nope, Conway circles away and we're back to standing.
Paul staying out of range there.
Paul steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Conway.
Paul fails with a takedown attempt.
Ryan Conway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamal Paul.
Paul fails to land the takedown.
Conway slaps away a takedown attempt from Paul, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A jab from Conway misses.

Conway lands a big right hand that sends Paul crashing to the mat! Conway stays standing though and waves Paul back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Conway keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Paul walks straight into a right hand from Conway - that's dropped him! Conway jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Paul from any more punishment! Paul complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
