Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Earl Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Sheen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Earl Morris has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Earl Morris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Sheen!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheen shoots in looking for a takedown. Morris tries to sprawl out of it but Sheen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Morris manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sheen shoots in and drives through. Morris sprawls well.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sheen is defended easily by Morris.
Earl Morris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Sheen.

Charlie Sheen has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Sheen or perhaps it was just good defense by Morris which made him look bad.
A lazy left from Morris finds it's target.


It looks like Charlie Sheen has been cut.
Morris lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sheen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sheen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Morris tried to score with a low kick but Sheen checks it.
Morris stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Morris wants it to stay on the feet.
Morris throws a leg kick but Sheen sees it coming and moves out of range.
Morris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sheen moves away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sheen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Morris misses with a takedown attempt - Sheen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Morris counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Sheen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Sheen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Morris lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Sheen sprawling to the canvas. Morris follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Sheen hang on?


Sheen is rocked!
Sheen preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Sheen is still in real trouble! Can Morris finish him?

Morris is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sheen is just riding it out for now. Morris eventually gives up the hold.
Sheen seems to have recovered his senses.
Morris throwing shots but Sheen is blocking nicely.
Sheen is controlling Morris's position as best he can from this difficult position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sheen controlling the position well.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Morris trying to control from half guard but Sheen is working away.
Morris wants to stand up but Sheen has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Morris enables Sheen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Morris manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Morris wants to stand but Sheen is controlling the position.
Sheen is stalling in the full guard.
Morris on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Morris tries to get out of the position.

Sheen checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Sheen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morris as he avoids it easily.

Sheen prevents Morris from standing back up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sheen wants to free his trapped foot but Morris is holding on for dear life with his legs.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Charlie Sheen's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Morris walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sheen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Sheen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Morris is fending him off so far but Sheen persists. Nope, Morris circles away and we're back to standing.

A jab-cross combination lands for Morris and sends Sheen crashing to the mat! Morris follows him down to the mat - Sheen regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sheen's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Charlie Sheen.
A bone on bone clash there as Sheen blocks the leg kick.

Sheen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Morris did well to prevent Sheen getting side control.
Sheen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Let's hope that Sheen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Charlie Sheen wasn't active enough on the ground.
Sheen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morris tries to avoid it but Sheen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morris to the ground. Morris escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sheen is defended easily by Morris.

Sheen fails to land the takedown.
Morris leaves Sheen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sheen shoots in but no luck this time.
Morris dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sheen tries to move into range but Morris moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.


That has opened up Charlie Sheen's cut even more.
A jab from Morris does it's job there.
Sheen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Morris pinned against the cage. Morris gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sheen is breathing heavily.
Morris throws a right and a left that Sheen avoids nicely.
Sheen on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Morris drops Sheen with a straight right hand, right on the button! Morris follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Earl Morris!
A very excited looking Earl Morris made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
