The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simakuutio closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Simakuutio is working for a submission of some sort.
Vega actively working from the bottom here.
Simakuutio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vega. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Simakuutio trying to control from half guard but Vega is working away.
Simakuutio is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Vega has managed to free his arm - good work.
Vega slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Vega has his foot on Simakuutio's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Simakuutio works his way back into a safe position though.
Simakuutio avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Simakuutio wants to control from the top but Vega keeps moving.
Vega tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Vega has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Simakuutio should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Vega has tightened it up now! Simakuutio should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
