Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ellington Darden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Old Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darden comes into the arena with Ray Lewis - What Time Is It blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Man fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Darden checks it well.

and Darden counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Man pushes Darden off and gets back to his feet.
Darden takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Man throws a solid leg kick but Darden takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Man.
Darden shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Man sprawls well. Man wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Darden gets slowly back to his feet.
Darden changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Man tries to avoid it but Darden manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Man to the ground. Man escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
