Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zhaka Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Morgan. Zulu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Morgan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Zulu has taken the fight to the clinch.
Zulu is trying to pull guard but Morgan turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch.

Morgan is pressed up against the ropes. Zulu has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Morgan down to the mat. Morgan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Zulu sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Zulu is defended easily by Morgan.

A frustrated look appears on Zulu's face as he tries to break the clinch.

It looks like Zhaka Zulu has been cut.
Zulu is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Zulu takes an elbow to the forehead.

Morgan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Morgan drives through and clinches with Zulu against the ropes.

Morgan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circle momentarily. Morgan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Zulu's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!


Zulu is rocked!
Morgan lands a shot to the body.
Oh Zulu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zulu tries to score a body lock takedown but Morgan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Zulu seems to have got his legs back now.
Morgan is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Morgan comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Morgan is pressed up against the ropes. Zulu has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Morgan down to the mat. Morgan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Zulu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Morgan to score with a decent uppercut.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Zulu. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Morgan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Morgan scores with the left hand. Zulu knows he should have avoided that one.
Morgan darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Zulu steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Morgan. That one must have hurt.
Zulu ducks right into an uppercut from Morgan.

Morgan clinches with his opponent.
Morgan unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Zulu! He's leaning against the ropes trying to keep his feet but Morgan is unloading with more strikes now! Zulu drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
