And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sion shoots in for a takedown but Van Daring shows good takedown defense.
Van Daring fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sion looks for a takedown but Van Daring sprawls well.
Sion with a lazy takedown attempt
and Van Daring counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sion!
Dirk Van Daring has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Warmonger Sion.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sion is in a horrible position here. Van Daring smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Van Daring fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Van Daring stands up over Sion, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Van Daring's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Van Daring has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Van Daring got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sion has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Van Daring has managed to get both his arms back between Sion's legs - danger averted.
Sion had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Van Daring defends it easily.
Van Daring trying to control but Sion is working from the bottom.
Van Daring works over Sion with some ground and pound from guard.
Sion has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Van Daring doesn't defend quickly enough and Sion has managed to lock this one up! Can Van Daring escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Sion on a fantastic submission victory.
