The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kohalic is looking to clinch.
Dread's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Dread duly obliges.

It looks like Al Kohalic has been cut.
Al Kohalic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kohalic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dread as he jumps to the side.
Kohalic tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dread sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kohalic somewhat.

Dread throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kohalic's waist but Kohalic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dread off to one side.

Dread trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Kohalic manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dread knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kohalic on the ground.
Dread has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kohalic is working away from the top position though.
Kohalic looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dread with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
