The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trooper feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Trooper wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position.
Trooper passes Jackson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Trooper stops Jackson from getting back to his feet.
Trooper is trying to control. Jackson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jackson is looking to escape.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Trooper in particular looking to stall.
Trooper is pressing down on Jackson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jackson is holding on for now.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Trooper lands a nice short elbow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jackson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Jackson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Trooper is controlling him well.
Jackson looks gassed!

Trooper is working to tighten is grip on Jackson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jackson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Trooper is really squeezing tight and eventually Jackson passes out! Trooper breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

In his post fight interview, Super Trooper started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
