The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kneeigeninen wants to clinch up but Hannay keeps it at a distance.
Kneeigeninen moves in looking to clinch but Hannay pushes him off.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kneeigeninen lands a big head kick that sends Hannay tumbling to the mat! Kneeigeninen takes a step backwards and waves Hannay back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Rick Hannay has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kneeigeninen gets caught napping as Hannay dives in and scores a takedown. Kneeigeninen manages to retain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kneeigeninen is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Kneeigeninen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hannay manages to get himself to full guard.

Kneeigeninen jerks Hannay's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Hannay drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Kneeigeninen goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Kneeigeninen because Hannay was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
