Fredriksson comes into the arena with DMX - Megatron Gon' Give It To Ya blaring out of the sound system. Mega Fredriksson had a look across the cage there at his opponent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roastbeef avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Roastbeef connects with a body shot.
Fredriksson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Roastbeef throws a shot to the body.
Roastbeef swats away the attempt to clinch by Fredriksson.
Roastbeef cracks Fredriksson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Roastbeef tries to pass the half guard into mount. Fredriksson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Roastbeef prevents Fredriksson from standing back up.
Roastbeef looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fredriksson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Roastbeef wants to advance to full mount but Fredriksson doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Fredriksson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Roastbeef wants to control from the top but Fredriksson keeps moving.
Roastbeef controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Fredriksson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Roastbeef defends it easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Roastbeef has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Roastbeef closes the distance and clinches up with Fredriksson, looking for a takedown. Roastbeef pushes Fredriksson against the cage but Fredriksson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fredriksson catches Roastbeef with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Fredriksson lands a jab to the nose.
Fredriksson tries to clinch but Roastbeef moves out of range.

Roastbeef is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fredriksson.
Fredriksson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Roastbeef tries for a takedown but Fredriksson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mega Fredriksson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Roastbeef.

Fredriksson tries to work over Roastbeef's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Roastbeef tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Roastbeef wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fredriksson has him pressed against the cage.
Fredriksson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Roastbeef backwards.
Roastbeef tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fredriksson's elbow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fredriksson creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Roastbeef's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Roastbeef drops to his knees and Fredriksson pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
