Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Plo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Plo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, ISIS - Grinning Mouths. Ken Hansen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Plo misses the target.
Plo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Plo wants it to stay on the feet.

Hansen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Plo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hansen to keep the fight standing.
Plo jumps guard but Hansen stands there with Plo around his waist. Plo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Plo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hansen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Plo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hansen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hansen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Plo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hansen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Plo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hansen has managed to get both his arms back between Plo's legs - danger averted.

Hansen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hansen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Plo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Plo closes the distance and clinches up with Hansen, looking for a takedown. Plo pushes Hansen against the cage but Hansen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hansen shoots in but Plo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Plo throws a hook but Hansen avoids it easily.

Plo isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hansen stacks Plo on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hansen!

Plo drops back looking for a leg! Hansen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hansen manages to kick Plo off! Plo jumps back into Hansen's guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ken Hansen hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Plo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hansen.

Ken Hansen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
