Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luquinha Piva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Loyoto Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Luquinha Piva has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Luquinha Piva seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Loyoto Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piva throws a body kick that misses.
Cruz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Cruz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Piva circles away.
Piva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cruz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Piva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Piva looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Cruz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Piva tries to land a front kick but Cruz steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Piva throws a nice looking combination but Cruz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Piva fails to land with a series of punches.
Piva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Piva misses with a body kick.
Piva throws a series of strikes that have Cruz backpedaling.
Piva lands a left and a right that send Cruz crashing to the mat, dazed. Piva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cruz is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Piva wants to clinch.
Cruz is still on wobbly legs! Can Piva finish him?
Piva lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Cruz head around and knocks him out cold! Piva hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Luquinha Piva!
