Parts comes into the arena with call to prayer blaring out of the sound system. James Arkley acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Arkley!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arkley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parts manages to avoid it.
Parts takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Arkley lands a big head kick that sends Parts tumbling to the mat! Arkley takes a step backwards and waves Parts back to his feet - he wants the finish!

James Arkley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Parts will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Parts throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Arkley on the side of the head.
Parts lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Arkley works Parts's body with a nice hook.
Arkley takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

That was a close round but I would say that Peter Parts will probably get the nod.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That kick from Parts tenderised Arkley's leg. Arkley is trying to keep his angry face on.

Parts lands a left and a right that send Arkley crashing to the mat, dazed. Parts thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Arkley is rocked!
Parts ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Arkley is still on wobbly legs! Can Parts finish him?

Arkley moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Arkley gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Parts gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Arkley is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Parts!
A less than humble Peter Parts misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
