Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Colin Millen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dinomat Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Millen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Da Strike!. Man has chosen Country Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colin Millen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dinomat Man!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Millen keeps the fight on the outside.
Man tries to clinch but Millen moves out of range.
Millen lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Millen lands a nice leg kick that just misses Man's sensitive parts.
Man checks a low kick from Millen.
Man moves to clinch but Millen breaks away
and Millen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Man thinking.
Man tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Man takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Millen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Man doesn't manage to clinch there - Millen circles away.
Man moves to clinch but Millen breaks away
and Millen makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Man gets a clinch.
Man throws an elbow that misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Man blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Millen tries to land knees in the clinch but Man avoids the damage to the body.
Man lands a hook to the side of the head.
Millen throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Millen misses with a hook to the ribs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Millen stalling.
Man throws a head punch that misses.
Man taking a breather.
Millen throws a punch but it's blocked by Man.
Man throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Millen is trying to pull guard but Man turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Man swings wildly with an uppercut but Millen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Millen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Man is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Man slowing the pace effectively.
Millen pushes off an throws an elbow but Man leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Man blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Millen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Man is defending well for now.

Millen pulls guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Man wants to stand but Millen is controlling his posture from full guard.
Millen is trying to control the position but Man postures up.
Millen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Man keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Millen content just to control the position here.
Millen looking to control but Man is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Man is in all sorts of trouble here.
Millen looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Man is desperately trying to improve his position but Millen has a good base and remains in mount.
Millen is landing with some decent strikes but Man is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Millen trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Man wants to hold on but Millen pushes him away.

Millen throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Man has his hands clasped together but Millen breaks the hold and Man is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Millen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Colin Millen!
A relieved looking Colin Millen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
