The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons loads up on a big right hand but Bracks slips the punch.
A left and a right from Simmons both land. Nice combination.
Nice takedown defense from Simmons. No joy for Bracks on that attempt.
Bracks stuns Simmons with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Manny Simmons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Simmons moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bracks is defended easily by Simmons.
Bracks shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Manny Simmons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Bracks.
Bracks avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Bracks bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Simmons is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Bracks has hold of Simmons's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Simmons tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bracks cranks the arm and Simmons screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Simmons, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
