The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McSuckerson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A head kick misses from McSuckerson.
Halley dives in and scores a takedown into McSuckerson's guard.
Halley drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Halley seems to have locked his on tight now - McSuckerson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Halley, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Richard Halley!
In his post fight interview, Richard Halley started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
